![]() not sure I give it to the RetroPie, but it is slightly smaller if that is the only metric. Yes RetroPie is clean, but given the ability to load save states from the main menu and such, that's much slicker. The NES Mini seems to have a much nicer menu. ![]() So far I haven't heard of any glaring issues, so no need for hot fixes or day one patches. It's a complete setup and is ready to go. Okay, but the NES Mini doesn't need updates. Not really something to compare I would say.īoth have it? Not sure why that is on the list for RetroPie/RPi. but none of the NES Mini games are 4 players. ![]() Otherwise the available controllers I have read are pretty similar. Yes, wireless is nice, but that removes the "retro" factor quite a bit from something like the NES. Some people have ethical issues with ROMs. That's something a casual consumer won't deal with.įair, but also illegal. Again you mention the 8bitdo controllers, look at all the posts with people needing help. It isn't easier to install than the NES Mini. You even mention 8bitdo controllers, that are running ~$50 USD a piece right now. There are plenty of components to buy for it. Not sure what the point of this topic is, other than a circle jerk.
